Your donation helps to support our workshop scholarship program and our Arts In Education programs in New York City public schools. This directly impacts the quality of our outreach programming and helps us to welcome people with talent who might not otherwise be able to attend. Some of you have even personally sponsored deserving workshop participants from your local communities. Your donation also supports our concerts and recording projects, plus all that goes into preparing and producing them. Additionally, our workshop scholarship campaign is underway. Your generosity is appreciated!
We want to thank all of you who are already Friends of the Western Wind and invite you to continue your membership and give more support if you are able. The annual Friends membership fee is $50 for individuals and $75 for couples. (Any donation of these levels or higher during the past year automatically qualifies you as a Friend.) You can also make monthly donations via your credit card, PayPal, and through automated bank payment. Consider donating via Venmo (The Western Wind, @acap8600), Zelle (info@westernwind.org), or ACH instead since these methods cost us relatively little in processing fees. Same goes for mailing a check.
These are precarious times for arts organizations and The Western Wind is no exception. Without your generous support, we would not have survived. So from all us in Western Wind, our heartfelt thanks!

Past Friends of The Western Wind honored through Bequests
Carolyn Wolz
Carolyn Wolz and her husband Bill attended Western Wind workshops together for many years until Carolyn's passing in 2020. A generous bequest from her estate continues to fund workshop scholarships and other Western Wind programming. Bill still plays a very active role in our events.
A. L. Cadwallader
A longtime Western Wind workshop participant, concert attendee, and donor, A.L. Cadwallader left a generous portion of his estate to The Western Wind at the time of his passing in 2012. His gift underwrote dozens of workshop scholarships in subsequent years.
Barbara Beckelman
Barb was a devoted workshop participant and WW supporter who passed away in January 2023. A bequest from her estate benefitted the Western Wind’s scholarship fund.
