2024 - 2025 Season
For over five decades, The Western Wind has expanded and redefined the “classical” a cappella vocal repertoire to include everything from Colonial American anthems, to dramatized Italian madrigals, to the latest scores of Philip Glass, Tania Leon, and Meredith Monk, to sophisticated vocal jazz, to holiday music across traditions, to newly minted settings female astronauts' musings, to imaginative renderings of folk and popular classics. The Western Wind’s offerings for 2024-2025 will be equally diverse, topical, vocally challenging, and artistically exciting, thanks to sopranos Linda Lee Jones & Christina Kay, counter-tenor Eric Brenner, tenors Bradley King & David Vanderwal, and bass Paul Greene-Dennis. Please join us for all our major concerts, whether in person in New York City or virtually on the Musae platform.
