Workshop Basics/Qualifications

Ability to match pitch and carry a tune. Knowledge of musical notation.


$195 until January 12 ($210 after January 12)
Group discounts are available for pre-existing groups of 8 or more.

There is a mall for takeout lunch nearby the Church or you can bring a bag lunch.

Location and Directions

Concord-St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church is located at the intersection of River Road and Goldsboro Road in the western section of Bethesda, MD.

From the Washington Beltway (I-495), take Exit #39/River Road East. Turn left at the light at Goldsboro Road; the entrance to the church will be on the right.

From downtown Bethesda and Chevy Chase, take Bradley Blvd west to the light at Goldsboro Road, and turn left. The entrance to the church will be on your left in less than a mile.

Public Transportation: Take the Metro Red Line to Friendship Heights and catch the T-2 (Rockville) metro bus. Buses stop near the church on River Road.

Registration Policy

A $100 deposit is required to ensure your enrollment. To register please click on the Register button above. A letter containing pertinent information and a questionnaire will be e-mailed to you upon receipt of your registration. Your balance due is paid upon your arrival to the workshop. Full refund will be made if you cancel by January 12; 50% refund thereafter.
Music Policy and Group Discount Information

Music Policy

The cost of all the music needed is included in the tuition. You may be asked to print out PDFs of core repertoire. A variety of vocal music publications and Western Wind recordings will be available for sale.

Bring Your Group!

Pre-existing groups are welcome at Western Wind Workshops. If enough members of a group enroll, they can apply for a tuition discount and work together as a group. Please contact The Western Wind for details as early as possible.
